Get Halal Mode
Three short steps: install the app, choose a family filter, then add the extension to your browser.
1. Install the app for Windows
The Windows installer is not available yet. Please check back soon.
What to expect
- The installer works for your user only and does not need administrator rights.
- When the app first opens, it downloads its recognition models once, then walks you through the rest.
2. Choose a family filter
The app asks you to pick a family filter: a phone book for website names that refuses to look up sites you would rather not see. Halal Mode uses it to tell where links lead.
You can also use your home network's filter if you already have one.
3. Add the extension to your browser
Use the browser you want protected. Each browser asks you to confirm, and the app shows when the browser is connected.
